Indie Author Episodes Are Open

We’re opening our calendar, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Margs & Manuscripts is booking four full-length episodes for January through March 2027, and every single one is going to an indie author.

This isn’t a Lime Light, and it isn’t a book pitch. These episodes are completely free for chosen authors, no fees and no catch. A full episode between Jenna, Cait, and YOU!

We want authenticity: your story, your hot takes, your weird road to publishing, and the conversation only you can bring. Your episode can line up with a release, or not. We just want fresh voices with something to say.

Why indie? Because you write the book, edit the book, market the book, and still cheer on everyone else’s. That kind of tenacity deserves a mic, and making room for it is how we keep this community open to everyone.

Pull up a chair. We’re saving you a seat (and a marg).

• Pitches close October 25.

• Selected authors will be notified by November 14.

• Who can pitch: Self-published and hybrid-published authors only.

• Cost: Completely free. No fees, no exchange of funds. You don’t pay us, and we don’t pay you. We just want to talk.

• Episodes air: January through March 2027.

• Didn’t get a spot? We open pitches every quarter, so there’s always a next round. And if you’d like to be on the show sooner, our Limelight episodes and book breaks are always open for booking.
